A day late and a dollar short...

Sorry for the late update.  I made trail mix last night and ate way too much of tasty goodness.  So I ended up going to bed real early last night.  Anyway, enough with my stomach issues.

So I tried remembering my actual army list for the Iron Snakes (which I have saved at work) but I couldn't make everything work that I remembered.  I think I keep remembering a mix of my 1850 list and my 2k list.  So what I'm presenting here is what I've recalled as my 1850 list.  Questions and comments are more than welcome.

Now I realize that I'm short about 35 points and I can't for the life of me remember how I spent those points, but I'll make sure and fix the list when I get into work and take a peek at what I wrote down.

This list plays pretty simply.  Essentially the tactical squads hunker down in their rhinos and use the rhino's firepoints to fire their special/heavy weapons.  These squads exist to claim objectives and otherwise sit back out of harm's reach.  Not heroic I know but generally a safe bet given the lackluster performance of tactical squads.  The sternguard will play a much more active role on the battlefield.  They will usually stay together and drive around teh field, deploying when needed and concentrating firepower on target squads.  The Landspeeders will speed across the board and try to destroy any key vehicle threats.  Alternatively I can deepstrike them onto flanks if my opponent doesn't have any tough vehicles.  The vindicator and whirlwind use their templates for area denial and crowd control on hordes.  Lastly, the wildcard of my list, the Ironclad in the drop pod will either deploy on the first turn on an enemy flank or drop directly behind the enemies lines.  This will hopefully throw off my opponent enough that he wastes a turn of fire on the dreadnought and the rest of my army can maneuver into better positions.

Anyway, that's a very "rough" overview of my Iron Snake list.  So enjoy.  In addition here are a few more pictures of Killa Kanz below.
