A former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday, December 16, visited the founder of Silverbird Group and the Senator representing Bayelsa East Constituency, Ben Murray-Bruce.
Atiku met with Murray-Bruce at the Silverbird Galleria.
Announcing Atiku's visit on his Facebook page, Murray-Bruce congratulated the former vice president on the launch of his new business - a first chain of the Chicken Cottage Restaurants.

Murray-Bruce said such effort by the former vice president will create job opportunities for Nigerians.

He said: "Atiku Abubakar, thank you for coming by the Silverbird cinema yesterday. Congrats once again on the launch of the first in a chain of Chicken Cottage restaurants, thereby creating job opportunities for Nigerians."

However, the former vice president's visit to the entertainment magnate has raised speculations on the move by the former to seek support in his presidential ambition.
While some Nigerians think the duo have done well in contributing their quota in the creation of jobs in Nigeria, others think the meeting and Atiku's launch of the restuarant is a political move.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that the United States of America has refused to comment on allegations made by Atiku that President Muhammadu Buhari was banned from the country.
The US said her refusal to make comments or address the allegations is due to administrative reasons.
The US reaction follows allegations by the former vice president that President Buhari was barred from entering US for 15 years.
